Keeping Elderly Warm(2) – Neck and Shoulder

Drop in temperature increases the chance of catching a cold, flu and even death threatening pneumonia. Cold air also stimulates tracheal contraction and may trigger asthma. Moreover, people will shrink their shoulders when they feel cold and continual shrinking shoulders can lead to neck and shoulder pain, and can even cause cervical spondylosis.

So make sure to wear appropriate clothes that can cover neck and shoulder, or wear a scarf to keep your neck and shoulder in autumn and winter time!
